DiggFinder respects intellectual property rights. We display metadata about recorded music (titles, artists, BPM, key, sample lineage, etc.) sourced from public databases and third-party providers. We do not host audio files, and we do not claim ownership of any track metadata.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on DiggFinder infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@diggfinder.com including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- A direct URL to the material on DiggFinder you want removed (e.g. a crate, track page, or sample link).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the above is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Response time
We aim to act on valid notices within 7 business days, typically by removing or restricting access to the reported content while we investigate.
Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error, send a counter-notice to the same address with a description of the material, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake.
Metadata & sample data
Sample lineage shown on track pages is sourced from publicly available community databases (e.g. WhoSampled) and cached for performance. If you are a rights holder and want a specific sample claim removed, the same takedown process applies.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
